The emulsification pump, also known as the pipeline emulsifier, is a high-performance emulsification equipment for fine materials used in continuous production or circulating processing in production. The emulsification pump can disperse, shear and emulsify the material in a very short time. During production, due to ageing and wear of the emulsification pump or improper operation, it is prone to failure. If the emulsification pump fails, you can refer to the following methods for inspection and repair.

1. After the emulsification pump is started, if it is found that there is no pressure or the pressure cannot be adjusted, the factors to be considered are: the middle and lower orifices of the pilot valve are blocked; the main valve of the unloading valve or the pilot valve is stuck and damaged; the thrust piston is sealed Ring damage and other factors. The solution is to dredge, repair, and replace objects based on the problem.

2. If the pressure pulsation of the emulsification pump is large, the flow is insufficient or there is no flow, the pipeline has vibration, and the noise is serious, then the factors to be considered are: the air in the suction chamber of the pump is not drained; the plunger seal ring, when sucking liquid; The suction pipe is too slender and bent, the suction and discharge valve spring is broken or the valve core is damaged, the suction valve screw plug is not tightened, and the suction filter of the liquid tank is blocked. The solution is to loosen the bleed screw of the pump body to drain the air; take out the drain valve and fill the plunger cavity with liquid; change the suction hose or eliminate dead bends, replace the spring or replace the valve core; tighten the suction valve Screw plug; cleaning the suction filter of the liquid tank.

3. If the emulsification pump is in operation, it may be caused by an increase in the gap between the stator and rotor; there is debris in the pump body; the solution is to replace the bearing bush; clear the debris; adjust the motor and pump to make it coaxial; tighten the pressure Tight screw sleeve.

   The emulsification pump fails during use, which is generally related to the operation. We can refer to the following points when operating the emulsification pump:

   1. Clean, the emulsification pump is the same as all equipment, the pump body must be cleaned before and after use;

2. Reversal. Many devices are particularly sensitive to reverse rotation. Reversal is likely to cause the motor to burn. The emulsification pump is a device that is particularly sensitive to reverse rotation. Therefore, you must pay special attention when using it. ;

3. Operation, the emulsification pump does not allow dry powder, small solids, and small clumps of materials to directly enter the pump body during operation. The emulsified materials of the emulsification pump must be fluid. The solids will cause the stator and rotor of the emulsification pump to jam, causing the motor burn;

  4. Leakage: When the emulsification pump is in normal operation, pay attention to observe whether there is material leakage in the pump body. If there is a leakage, stop the operation of the emulsification pump, and check and adjust the sealing device;

   5. Mechanical seal: Before starting the mechanical seal cooling water, be sure to confirm whether there is water flowing in, and whether there is water out of the other end. Otherwise, it is easy to be machine-sealed and burned to material leakage.

  6. Noise: If the emulsification pump makes abnormal noises during use, it should be shut down and troubleshooted carefully.

   So in the process of using the emulsification pump, if the motor burns out, you can check whether it is caused by the above reasons. In fact, the best way to avoid the emulsification pump motor from burning out is to choose the appropriate emulsification pump model and motor power according to the actual production situation when purchasing the emulsification pump.
