Product Features
This product is designed for the smooth delivery of each stream before entering the static mixer when two or more streams of fluid are applied to the static mixer.
In the process of fluid transportation, the mixing ratio is often affected by the imbalance of the delivery pressure of each fluid.
In this case, a venturi-shaped distributor must be used. The venturi-shaped distributor has the performance of a jet booster pump. Under the condition of ensuring the secondary flow, the outlet pressure of the material can reach the required pressure. The distributor is mainly composed of a nozzle, a receiving chamber, a mixing chamber, a diffuser, etc. The main flow passes through the nozzle to produce a pressure drop, and the secondary flow is drawn into the receiving chamber of the venturi. The main flow and the secondary flow are mixed in the mixing chamber and then pass through the diffusion chamber. At this time, the outlet pressure of the diffusion chamber is greater than the inlet pressure of the secondary stream and less than the inlet pressure of the main stream. In this way, the fluid can be smoothly transported to the static mixer for mixing. But sometimes due to the specific process, the delivery pressure of each stream is balanced. In this case, according to the flow rate of each stream and the specific process requirements, a general form of distributor can be selected.
Product Usage
It is suitable for the feeding of two or more fluids. When the pressure of the main flow and the secondary flow are unbalanced, a venturi-shaped distributor is used. When the pressure of the main flow and the secondary flow are balanced, a general-type distributor is used.
Practical examples
In a domestic chemical plant, in the process of liquefied petroleum gas caustic washing, due to the imbalance of main and secondary flow pressures,
The venturi-shaped distributor of Silpu was selected to solve the problem of mainstream and secondary flow feeding and make it suck smoothly. The SK static mixer of Silpu was used for further mixing, which met the technological requirements.
