Product Features

SQS series soda mixer is a new energy-saving and environmentally friendly product developed by Silpu. It uses the direct mixing of steam and water to heat water. It has the characteristics of low noise, no vibration, and high thermal efficiency. It is widely used in heating domestic, production hot water and hot water deoxygenation systems. Long-term operation has proved that the product has a good effect.

Structure and principle

The mixer is mainly composed of nozzles, shells, mesh plates and other parts.

When the heated water passes through the Laval-shaped nozzle, the steam is sprayed into the water from the outside of the nozzle through many oblique small nozzles on the pipe wall, and the two are instantly mixed well in high-speed flow to achieve the purpose of heating. Adjust the steam side valve to get hot water at the desired temperature.

Table-I and Table-II respectively list the relationship between different heating temperatures and steam consumption for the open system and the circulating system at the rated water inlet flow and steam of 0.4MPa, for users to refer to when selecting heaters and reviewing steam sources. (Note: The steam pressure of 0.4MPa is not necessarily the operating condition of the heater).

Usage example

This mixer can be used not only for domestic hot water (Figure 2), preheating the inlet water of the deaerator (Figure 3), and also for hot water heating systems. Water temperature can be automatically controlled, manual control can also be used, simply adjust the steam valve side of the door can be opened.

In the high-temperature hot water heating system, the mixer should be installed on the outlet side of the water pump. In the low-temperature hot water (outlet temperature ≤ 95°C) heating system, the mixer can also be installed on the inlet side of the pump. When the power source is a steam jet pump, the mixer can only be installed on the water outlet side of the jet pump.
